Paracinema, VTSS, and Other Places I'm Buggin' Out

It's occurred to me lately that I've actually been making appearances in many places outside of The Lair, and in case I haven't bothered you on Facebook or Twitter about all the wonderful places you can keep up with me, I thought I'd do a little round-up here. First up is my favorite genre magazine run by my favorite couple, Christine and Dylan, and I'm talking Paracinema Magazine.

The new issue of Paracinema is up for pre-order now, and aside from the kick ass cover story on Ken Russell's The Devils, there's a piece on porn parodies, an article from The Lair's good pal Matt House of Chuck Norris Ate My Baby. and a little something from me (shameless bolding for my own ego stroking) about the Bob Dylan flick Masked and Anonymous. So pick up your copy today!

And while you're there, if you missed the Revenge Issue with my article on Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, pick that up as well!

Next up, I'm very happy to announce that I've joined the team over at Video Tape Swap Shop! You can find  En büyük yumruk a.k.aThe Biggest Fist, a.k.a Turkish James Bond, my first article, over there this week as part of Turkish Week. There's a lot more exciting things coming over there, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

I'm also always glad to be a part of Italian Film Review, and lately I've had a ton of reviews over there. So head over there for review of the LSD crime spree Red Hot Shot, the pre-Fatal Attraction Fulci penned The Trap, the strongman pastiche of Hercules and the Treasure of the Incas, Franko Nero and Fabio Testi in Blood Brothers, Sergio Martino and Daniel Green team up again for The Opponant, and finally, The Lightning Bug takes on the spy spoof Lighting Bolt.

But, wait, there's more....

Just yesterday, at Rupert Pupkin Speaks, my pal Brian invited me to countdown my favorite "bad" movies, while I got some push back on Starship Troopers being "bad"(Hey, what can I say, lots of folks I know don't like it and I do. So the problem is that I like it, but think it's "bad".). I think there's some real gems on the list. So head over there and check it out, and I'll be back tomorrow with another dose of Summertime genre gold.
